MMA Scribbles Newsletter Bellator 262, UFC stuff- Issue #12

MMA Scribbles Newsletter
Last Bellator at Mohegan Sun, McGregor tibia forensics, and cupcake’s comeback. Also, you probably missed one of the best shows on TV.

Bellator 262 and UFC Vegas 31 was the poison of fight fans this weekend. At least according to my 10 person Twitter poll I took on Saturday night.

What's on your radar tonight? 🥊🥋
But still, the week after UFC 264 made for an interesting one. McGregor’s fame seems to know no bounds as even while sitting in a loss, every social media message he does make for MMA content the bulk of the week. This included folks trying to figure out when and how his leg actually broke.
Meanwhile, Dustin Poirier is making good on his charitable efforts in Uganda and auctioning off the KO’d McGregor necklace Jake Paul sent him for “The Good Fight Foundation.” Not enough is written about that, but I think it’s just more profitable to put out bad news over good news. Check out my friend, Hunter Homistek’s recent blog if you want to know the state of news and sports these days anyway.
As for the current fight news, you probably know by now that Juliana Velasquez defended her Bellator MMA flyweight title at Bellator 262 and Miesha Tate is back and winning in the UFC. Here are your results from the weekend’s MMA.
