The Lifeline available as 988
If you haven’t seen the updates to the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline - you can now dial 988 instead of the old 10-digit toll-free number!
But do remember if you maintain PBX systems that your dial-plan should be compatible with 988.
If you want to comb through mailing-list emails, there was a good discussion of 988 changes on the VoiceOps list.

I also want to bring up something we don’t think about often: outages sometimes mean something went really wrong.
I mean, we put lightning into rocks and expect it not to hurt us?
So while it’s easy to raise-hell when your connectivity is disrupted - maybe take the lighter approach.
