We’re busy building, and we’re bigger than ever!

Hello fellow movers and shakers,
Following a hiatus, the Builders Newsletter is back in circulation! We are bigger and busier than ever and are firmly on the expansion path, with our team growing by five new studio members in the last quarter alone. As is expected with new additions, we are in the process of embracing and integrating diverse cultures amidst us. From the way of work, to lunch-table discussions, we at Builders are truly going global. With our venture Obeyo rapidly approaching launch, the studio is in all-hands-on-deck mode and is looking to expand our team further with several key positions waiting to be filled by driven individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset.
We are proud to share our new team members and their role within the studio:

News from our universe 🪐
  • Our venture Obeyo has officially launched the first beta version of its platform, including an updated product deck and a new website!
  • Obeyo has also expanded its roster of launching customers with three new additions- French co-living operators Homies, Coliverus Factory from Spain, and Wanna Colive from Argentina.
  • Our founder and managing director Michael took part in the roundtable ‘Legal docs for your studio’ from GSSN, together with Miles Dotson from Devland studio in US, to share survey results, definitions for each model as found within the summary docs and answer questions as part of a panel.
  • Michael was also part of a roundtable webinar ‘From bootstrapping to startup studio fund’ organised by the StudioHUB Startup Studio Community where he shared his experiences, knowledge, and thoughts on fundraising in the startup world.
  • We’re part of the GSSN Bootcamp, 8-week bootcamp where you’ll design your studio’s playbook with input from a peer group and industry leaders.
  • We’re opening the application round on April 16th for the Growth Marketing Trainees starting in September.
What we’re following 👀
  • The new digital twin standard for buildings Quantum, as developed by PassiveLogic and the U.S. Department of Energy.
  • Michael Steinmann from Obeyo shares his insights on community as the core of a residential community.
  • Emergence of the new quasi-cyber religion of DAOism (decentralised autonomous organisations) in the digital consensus space.
  • The Loft.uk’s inaugural Build to Regenerate volume features Michael Steinmann from Obeyo sharing his vision of reviving community living in urban residences by harnessing the power of technology.
Come build with us 🧑‍💻
To sustain the growth of our portfolio companies, we’re looking for various roles across marketing, business, and human resources. If you, or someone in your network is looking for a new opportunity, take a look at our open positions:
The past months have been dedicated to thoroughly understanding the emerging trends in the Proptech and HR Tech markets to start building our new venture thats could potentially be key to the next biggest thing in the SaaS world.
