As in previous years, the agenda is packed (300 sessions in 2 days) with stimulating and sometimes provocative titles, making it very difficult to decide exactly which sessions to attend. Should we go to How do the best teachers teach? Lessons from cognitive sciences, How to ensure your genitalia doesn’t affect your salary? Ed Tech: what is it good for? Or, We need to stop talking about Social Mobility?
The best part of such an event is meeting people and talking about everything related to education, sharing different perspectives, theories and even challenging each other. This could be while waiting in the incredibly long queue for Vegan Thai Curry or more formally as part of a workshop or just following a session.
Our very own Liz Free, Director of BSN’s ILA (International Leadership Academy)
is also here presenting and facilitating discussion as part of the WomenEd
strand, which focuses on the gender imbalance in educational leadership.
We are looking forward to tomorrow—if you’re here, don’t forget to visit our stand!
