On Monday 16 March, the BSN made the move to remote working/teaching/learning, in line with the Dutch Government’s announcement that all schools in The Netherlands would close.
These are exceptional circumstances and we’re still adapting, figuring out new routines and coping mechanisms. Lots of parents are working from home while taking care of children and supporting their remote education. BSN staff are doing everything they can to ensure the smooth continuation of high quality teaching and learning. The physical and mental health of everyone are of great concern.
It’s been heartening to see that the BSN Community is rising to the challenges. We are sharing resources and experiences and supporting each other by keeping in contact. We are proud of our staff who are adapting so quickly; they have embraced new tools and are continuing to deliver a high standard of education. We are proud of our BSN families for their positivity and resilience.
We could be in this situation for the long haul. Times are uncertain. The best antidote to fear and anxiety is each other. We’re in this together!
