Happy Haunts - April 2022

Hello there! How is it April already?
March was hectic in the best way. I hit some streaming goals on Twitch, my first big Patreon goal, and the deadline for my draft of The Reyes Incident. Now that it’s April, it’s officially TRI release month! I hope you’re as excited as I am. The book releases on April 30, 2022. If you have a podcast, website, or another promotional opportunity to help me spread the word about it, please let me know. I appreciate it!
You can preorder an ebook copy of The Reyes Incident at your retailer of choice here, or you can snag a signed paperback copy via my website. At this time, there’s no way to preorder a paperback copy except through me, but the paperback will be available on release day.
As far as the audiobook goes, I’m still deciding how to proceed. Since TRI contains found footage and dual POVs, I would prefer to have it produced as an audio drama rather than an audiobook, but that could be pricy. Honestly, I don’t know how any of it works. As soon as I have news about the audio, y'all will be the first to hear it.
Moving on! Here’s what you might want to watch, read, and play this month, based on everything I loved in March:
Watch
  • XX (2017) - Four short horror films that are directed and written by women.
  • The Crown (2016) - This show focuses on Queen Elizabeth II as a young newlywed faced with leading the world’s most famous monarchy, while forging a relationship with legendary Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill. The British Empire is in decline, the political world is in disarray, but a new era is dawning. Peter Morgan’s masterfully researched scripts reveal the Queen’s private journey behind the public façade with daring frankness. Prepare to see into the coveted world of power and privilege behind the locked doors of Westminster and Buckingham Palace.
Read
  • You’ve Lost a Lot of Blood by Eric LaRocca (2022) - A disturbing new vision of terror from the author of Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke. “Each precious thing I show you in this book is a holy relic from the night we both perished-the night when I combed you from my hair and watered the moon with your blood. You’ve lost a lot of blood …”
Play
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo (2022) - Tokyo’s population has vanished, and deadly supernatural forces prowl the streets. Use an arsenal of elemental abilities to unravel the truth behind the disappearance and save Tokyo.
