Revenue for Fast 9 or F9: The Fast Saga is still fast. The latest film from the Fast & Furious franchise managed to earn revenues of US $ 500 million or around Rp. 7.2 trillion from international screenings.
According to Variety, F9 is now the first and only Hollywood film to have pocketed US$500 million from international screenings since 2019. Previously, Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) only managed to make US $ 446 million.
Viewers in China contributed the most with revenues of US$203 million, followed by North America of US$123 million, and South Korea of US$19.3 million.
In the next sequence, there are views in Russia with revenues of US $ 18 million, followed by views in Mexico with US $ 10.9 million and views in other countries.
However, the achievements of F9 are still far behind when compared to films outside Hollywood. Hi, Mom and Detective Chinatown 3, which were produced in China, grossed US$822 million and US$66 million, respectively.
