Bot! zine #36: #MobileBeat2016 and more!
By Bot! zine • Issue #36
Hello from somewhere in Italy! I’m on vacation this week, so even though you’re getting Bot! zine on the right day, I only have stories from early last week. That’s ok though, because there’s been a tidal wave of news stories, coming primarily from VentureBeat’s #MobileBeat2016. I was there on June 12th interviewing Josh Jacobs, President of Kik Services, about their commerce and branded bots on the platform.
All the major stories and highlights from #MobileBeat2016 are available on their site, so I won’t drown the newsletter with all of it. Great stuff, and I’m so glad I got to meet a bunch of fellow Botmakers!
See you next week (unless I’m in a pasta coma somewhere).
p.s. Make sure you get to the bottom of this email to see a great deal for discounted tickets to Talkabot in Austin, TX this September!
