In this release: an introduction, some first scenes of the upcoming Heart’s Medicine, Sebastiaan on music in our games and finally we ask you to give us some feedback. Happy reading!

Nice to meet you!
A while back you signed up to be kept up to date. I know, it has been awfully silent on our end, but we’ve been busy building the next Heart’s. And man… are we excited to share this game with you! You’ll just have to wait a little longer. 
Starting this week we’ll try to give you a regular update on what’s happening. This week, a sneak peek of what’s up with the new Heart’s Medicine. 
Heart's Medicine - New room: Psychology 💊
Each Heart’s Medicine has multiple rooms that are part of both story and gameplay. In this issue, we take a look at the new psychology room. 
Concept drawing
For this room we took inspiration from classic treatment rooms we see in television series. The psychology department of the hospital needed to feel comfortable and at home for patients. It has this classic dark red & wooden look you see in TV-series like Mad men. We added yellow to freshen up the scene and used blinds to create privacy. Notice one of the blinds up? We wanted to keep the room full of light. 
Psychology room at hospital
This department is modelled based on Little Creek hospital. It has comfortable sofas and chairs. We used a wooden floor to add warmth to the scene. This room is going to be part of the new Heart’s Medicine. 
3 Must-listen tracks according to Sebastiaan
Remember watching Dawson’s Creek? We really loved the music in that series. In Heart’s Medicine we work closely with our composer Adam Gubman to write custom tracks to support the story of Allison Heart. While we’re working on the new Heart’s Medicine we love to look back at these three tracks. Sebastiaan van Waardenberg, our lead game design on why these tracks are so important to Heart’s Medicine Time to Heal.
