July is here and we’re just 63 days from UCF Football’s opener vs. Boise State. Let’s get started with the big news of the day in college sports:

NIL Is Here
The NCAA reversed its ban on student-athletes profiting off their name, image or likeness and enacted an interim policy Wednesday in advance of ten states effectively nullifying its power, including Florida.
UCF’s student-athletes were well-prepared for it:

We’ll be following how this new Wild West situation develops over the summer.

UCF Came Out of COVID in the Black
And it’s thanks in no small part to Tennessee, Danny White and Josh Heupel:
UCF ended up in the black for a variety of reasons. A big one was the buyout of Danny White and Josh Heupel.
