Big Revolution
Hello and welcome to Saturday’s trim and supple edition of Big Revolution.

Big things you need to know today
- The UK Information Commissioner’s Office finally “raided” Cambridge Analytica’s HQ in London after it took nearly a week for them to obtain a warrant. Can it really be a ‘raid’ when the company has had several days’ notice?
- Will Facebook suffer longterm harm? It’s already been hit by at least four shareholder lawsuits, but analysts are bullish about the company’s prospects, expecting #DeleteFacebook to be a flash in the pan.
- Never one to miss a PR opportunity, Elon Musk yesterday deleted the SpaceX and Tesla pages on Facebook. That’s a total of around 5.2 million page Likes down the drain. I hope no-one lost their social media manager job company over this.
- It’s a tough week for Uber’s autonomous driving division. Analysis shows the company’s tech should have protected against the fatal collision last weekend. And the New York Times reports Uber is way behind Alphabet’s Waymo in self-driving reliability.
- Dropbox was a stock market hit on its debut day. It finished 36% up on its opening price.
