  • Fintech giant Wirecard is under fire amid accusations of $2.1bn in missing cash. CEO Markus Braun stood down yesterday.
  • Snapchat has been racist again. Its Lens for Juneteenth (a historic date in the fight against slavery) asked users to smile to break chains. This is just the latest racially insensitive Lens that Snapchat has had to withdraw shortly after launch.
  • BMW and Mercedes Benz have ended their self-driving car partnership. The tech development collaboration was announced less than a year ago, and may resume at some time in the future. The companies say a shared tech platform was too complicated to develop at the present time.
