Big Revolution
Welcome to Sunday’s Big Revolution. If you’ve got your feet up today, enjoy these weekend reads…

Big things you need to know today
- Got a WiFi router made by Linksys, Mikrotik, Netgear, QNAP, or TP-Link? The FBI says you should reboot it as soon as possible (no matter where you are in the world). Doing this will help kill widespread, powerful malware. Believed to be of Russian origin, VPN Filter can “collect communications, launch attacks on others, and permanently destroy the devices with a single command,” Ars Technica reports. If you can, do a factory reset on your device.
- Apple is to start publishing a report of government requests to remove apps from its App Store. “These numbers will tell us just how often governments are trying to block access to certain apps, and how many of those orders are actually obeyed,” reports The Verge.
- Elon Musk has been caught out sharing an article from a fake news site linked to a cult. There was much chuckling from journalists after Musk has spent the past few days criticising mainstream media for not telling the “truth.”
