  • The largest semiconductor manufacturer in the world had to shut down its factories this weekend after it discovered a virus had infected its fabrication tools. TSMC’s trouble could have knock-on effects for firms like Apple, Nvidia, and Qualcomm.
  • Payday loans firm Wonga has had a £10m bailout from top VCs to save it from insolvency. Cue lots of jokes about them having to pay it back at 2,000% APR.
