A couple of hours after sending yesterday’s edition, I changed my mind and did it – I decided to pre-order an iPhone Xs Max… in gold. I’m now worried I’ll look too ‘bling’ for my personality. But then again I was bored of always taking the dull 'space grey’ option with Apple devices.
It was interesting to see that five hours after preorders started, all Xs and Xs Max configurations were still available with week-one delivery (some were day-one delivery!) so either Apple really anticipated demand well or everyone’s waiting for the iPhone XR. Or both.
