  • Facebook plans to integrate the tech behind Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp, the New York Times reports This will mean all three get WhatsApp’s end-to-end encryption, but many questions remain about how the new arrangement will work in practice.
  • YouTube plans to stop recommending conspiracy theory videos to users, at last. Although there’s no word on how they’ll identify such videos or when they’ll begin to be blocked.
