It’s important to try and see the good in everything, and what could potentially go right in situations, rather than looking for the opposite. Expecting the worst is a defense mechanism for a lot of people because it saves them from true disappointment.
If they ‘knew it was going to happen,’ then it wouldn’t bother them so much…
… but, in fact, you’ll still feel the same negativity regardless.
So, why not expect the best, and increase your chances of happiness?
