Hi friends, here is your weekly dose of “Simply Good Life,” a list of things that will help you to grow personally and professionally. Enjoy!

What do You Fear Doing?
What do you think prevents us from doing what should be done? It is fear of unknown outcomes.
So, define the worst case, accept it, and then do it. Why? Because…
What we fear doing most is usually what we most need to do.
What could you do today that you fear doing?
Podcast of the Week
It’s a short 9-minute-long podcast episode with two of my favorite medical doctors talking about exercising. It seems that exercise is the single most important thing you can do to preserve brain health. “If you’re not active every day, you need to change that”.
Exercise not only improves anxiety levels but also the decision-making ability.
“If I have something that’s bothering me or giving me anxiety or I have to make a really important decision, going for a long run really helps me”
Answer Emails in Five Sentences
I try to answer all incoming emails with five sentences or less. By limiting myself only to a maximum of five sentences for each reply my responses are more concise, and I limit the time I spend replying and the recipients’ time reading it.
There’s even a website - Five.sentenc.es - that can be linked in the e-mail signature that explains the advantages of short replies.
Why the Future of Cars is Electric
Electric cars are now ready to take over thanks to advances in battery technology and their technical benefits.
But what is really the reason the future of cars is electric?

Quote I Love
Focus on what you can control, ignore what you cannot.
Ramit Sethi
This sounds obvious but just look at your actual behavior. How much time do you spend focusing on the things you cannot control: the politics, economy, negative people.
These are all things we generally cannot control, and yet we spend a lot of energy worrying about them. Focus on what you can control.
Have a positive weekend, all!
Adam
