Hi friends, here is your weekly dose of “Simply Good Life", a newsletter that tries to make your day a little bit better and help you to grow personally and professionally. Enjoy!

Record Yourself Speaking Every Single Day
If you want to improve your speaking skills, give yourself a 30-day challenge and record yourself speaking every single day. As you watch your recordings, look for areas where your body language, facial gestures, and tone can improve. Find spots in your responses where you can slow down or pause in order to emphasize a point. The difference between your first take and the last will surprise you.
Make People Feel Good About Themselves
We often imagine that the best way to make others like us is to never bother them. But that’s wrong.
“We have a powerful urge to feel helpful. We need to be needed”
So ask others for help, ask for advice, bother them, make yourself vulnerable in their eyes. By doing this, you’ll make them feel good about themselves.

How to Make People Feel Good About Themselves
What is Brand? What is Marketing?
What is a brand? According to Gary Vaynerchuk - the brand guru on all social media channels - “It’s what people think when they hear a word”.
What is marketing? According to Seth Godin - the marketing guru -“Marketing is the generous act of helping someone solve a problem. Their problem.”
Now think about the company you work for, what is it that you think about your company? What is it that your friends think about the company. That’s the company’s brand.
How does marketing present your company to others? Watch some of your marketing material. Is it about helping someone else solve their problem?
Quote I Love
“You get what you focus on, so why in the hell would you ever focus on negativity?” – Jay Campbell
Stop thinking that you’re a victim or that the world owes you anything. Focus on what you can do to improve yourself and how you can contribute to making a better society.
You get what you focus on!

Have a wonderful, positive day
