The last hundred years has seen a revolution in cosmology. No previous generation had our knowledge of a trillion galaxy universe, its quantum foundation, or its 14 billion year lifespan. This talk will provide a snapshot of the last 2500 years of cosmology in Western civilization, from Pythagoras to Stephen Hawking, identifying the key breakthroughs in this new quantum evolutionary complexity cosmology. We’ll follow up with speculation and conversation on the way this will impact human consciousness over the next several centuries.
San Francisco, 1960s & 70s: Cultural Ecology and Experimentation

The tumultuous decade of 1968–1978 in the San Francisco Bay Area shook the City and forever shaped who we would understand ourselves and the world around us to be. Shaping San Francisco brings together authors from Ten Years That Shook the City: San Francisco 1968–1978 to provide contextual history of the time period in which Lawrence Halprin and Anna Halprin were forging their paths and utopian ideas.
This workshop will focus on terms and term sheets for a seed, angel, convertible debt, and Series A round, in an interactive, informative session with great take away materials and actionable items.
