The Week in EOS.

Happy Sunday, everyone!
The major news out of EOS this week was that the BP multi-sig proposal to pass the EOS User Agreement (EUA) as a replacement for the interim constitution went through. The proposal was signed and approved by 15/21 elected BPs, so EOS now has an official constitution and is no longer burdened by the unenforceable and controversial provisions of the interim constitution. This means no more ECAF, no more arbitrary rules about things that can’t be enforced, and no more ambiguity about whether or not that document should even be recognized. The EUA is simple and sensible. It embraces socially scalable structures inherent to DPOS for decision-making, rather than relying on centralized bodies or arbitrary voting thresholds. We think that this is an important milestone and a huge move in the right direction for EOS. We recommend reading the EUA and the proposal in its entirety to get a sense of the governance framework it establishes. Congrats to all those who voted in favor of this proposal.
