Aurora EOS Weekly Update

Aurora EOS Weekly Update

March 29 · Issue #45 · View online

The Week in EOS. has officially announced that its June event will take place in Washington, DC, and they’ve put up a new page on their site for it. We still don’t have many concrete details, but Dan seemed to confirm on Telegram that a Steem-competitor social network was at least part of what is to be revealed. You can sign up on their site to receive more details as they come out.
I’d also like to call attention to this tweet from Mike Dudas at The Block. I generally like The Block; among mainstream crypto media, it’s by far my favorite outlet, and I’ve written about EOS for The Block previously. But Mike’s tweet, whether he was trolling or not, shows that many crypto people outside of the core EOS community have no idea about all of the interesting stuff happening in this ecosystem. I responded to Mike’s tweet with a short list of projects I’m excited about, but it’s clear there’s still a lot of work to do when it comes to awareness. It’s still early enough that many projects simply don’t make much noise, though I’m confident that eventually many of them will simply speak for themselves. In the meantime, I’m looking forward to continuing to see such amazing teams build under the radar. If you know of anyone who is looking to follow the EOS ecosystem more closely, feel free to forward this newsletter to them!
