Also, I came across this 2018 Developer Skills Report by HackerRank. Take some time to look at it as it makes for interesting reading. It would appear that our C# and .NET Core skills are still very much in demand.

Steve looks at the new HttpClientFactory which is coming in ASP.NET Core 2.1 which helps to solve some common problems that developers may run into when using HttpClient instances to make external web requests from their applications.
