Flashy doesn't mean freedom

Flashy doesn't mean freedom

A few thoughts on the true meaning of freedom:
  • To me, freedom is the ultimate flex. My goal is to make just enough to live life on my own terms. I don’t want to become a slave to my business nor to a job I don’t enjoy.
  • You won’t find the happiest people on earth on some Forbes list. The happiest people on earth seem to be unknown. They live low-profile lifestyles. You can only bump into them randomly when you least expect it.
  • I used to be obsessed with the idea of owning a bunch of fancy stuff. Big home, nice watch, latest MacBook. Now I’m obsessed with the idea of owning and controlling all my actions and desires.
  • Most people believe that truly wealthy people wear expensive watches. The truth however is that truly wealthy people don’t need to. They have so much time they don’t need to track it on their wrist.
Don’t take anything I share too seriously. I’m just a young creator figuring things out. Everything I share is a reminder to myself.
Have a delightful week!
