Break Things Down

Break Things Down
By Ash Lamb • Issue #56 • View online

Being ambitious and having a big vision can be very daunting if you don’t take the time to boil things down to what it is that you actually have to do today in order to move close to that goal.
Once you learn to break down big goals into smaller manageable tasks, almost any big goal becomes achievable, because you realize that even your wildest dreams are formed by tiny daily actions anyone can do.
Don’t say:
I’m going to build a big audience online.
Instead, say:
I’m going to create one 5-minute YouTube video every week for a whole year. Then I’ll share it in the two communities I’m a part of.
You can keep breaking down your goals until you’re left with a tiny task you an do right now.
Great love and respect!
