Good morning, it’s Micheal here with you this morning. We’ve just been getting over our People of the Year Awards event held last Thursday evening….which is why there was no 6.30am newsletter on Friday!
So we’ve a bit to pack in to this one…so, with further ado..

People of the Year Awards
As mentioned, here is a gallery and video highlights of our People of the Year Awards. We were humbled and honoured by the response from everyone involved. It was a great night and a pleasure to speak to so many amazing people.
The big loser of the Friday no-show was the quiz answers, which have since been put up on the website, but for those of you newsletter or nothing folk, here are last week’s answers.
Last week’s answers were: 1. Collegeland; 2. Ciaran Toman; 3. Clare Glen; 4. Mary McAleese; 5. 1976; 6. Six; 7. Supermarket; 8. Movie Mecca; 9. Tandragee and Killylea; 10. 2008.
And if you haven’t attempted already, here is this week’s offering….
Win a £100 voucher...
We’ve got a £100 voucher to giveaway to one lucky reader. As always, it’s pretty simple to enter – this one does have a quirk though. If you enjoy scrabble or your Countdown conundrums, this will be one for you. Enter the giveaway here.
Note: I realise this was not linked to on last week’s newsletter…I’ll hold my hands up to that.
We’ve also got a pair of cinema tickets to giveaway, as we do each week. You can enter here – it’s really simple.
We’ve also got Fusion Festive ticket bundles to giveaway too. Enter here for your chance to get your hands on some.

This week’s podcast is a really fascinating insight into the life of Ric Dyer. His journey to distilling gin is a remarkable one. As he progressed in his career he eventually lost his creative licence, such was the evolution of his job roles – he became a victim of his own success. He wanted to do something about that and did….
