This is it, the big coming to grips with everything announced during WWDC newsletter edition.
As you can tell, I discussed a whole bund of articles during my podcast episode, and there are bound to be many more great articles in our future. But this is the list of content I used initially to come to grips with the big pieces of information announced during WWDC.
There is also an article about getting started with CarPlay. I am looking into it at the moment because soon I will get access to a
CarPlay-enabled car. It never hurts to explore right?
I am also playing around more with
WebAuthN and
PassKeys. I think this might be the biggest sleeper feature of WWDC. It all depends on adoption and how easy it is to move passkeys into and out of the Apple ecosystem. Imagine having an Android phone and being able just to transfer all your PassKey/WebAuthN enabled accounts with you. (Or vice versa.) I think WebAuthN now has the potential to improve overall internet security for many people.
Hopefully next week things will start settling down a bit. I need to get to work. A live-streamed presentation with CocoaHeadsNL and a presentation during
AppDevCon next week. If AppDevCon does not record my session, I will record myself, so I can publish that later.
Anyways, enjoy all the great new stuff released by Apple.
