Parcelhero have already removed one of my reviews to hide their bad practice.
Within the last twelve months, Parcelhero shipped a printer I sold on ebay. They:
-charged me £68 excess on £48 ‘overweight’ delivery
-ignored my evidence that the package was not overweight
-sent me confidential responses meant for another customer
-destroyed the printer
-refused a refund
Good news though!
After my use of the Money Claims service online (small claims), leaving it to the absolute last minute, Parcelhero have refunded me in full.
It is worth the trouble, even though they make it as difficult as possible.
(However it’s now gone from the Money Claims Service to the County Court so instead of logging in and cancelling, I have to download a pdf!
And said pdf has to be completed in part by… (I kid you not) xxxxxx ing out the non-applicable bit on claimant/defendant :-)
I have to duplicate all the references the Money Claims Service sent to me onto the form.
And then snail mail it to the court!
(And, as I’m currently overseas, I have first to register for a PO Box, validate my email, validate my identity with passport and selfie, wait for validation, then pay for them to print and post…)
Good to see it’s not just the co-op bank who can handle an omnichannel shambles, good old HMCTS can do so too…)
