WARNING: If you suffer Aviophobia you should just skip this newsletter, since today’s issue will be completely dedicated to the upcoming release of our collaboration with Lennard Kok, this coming Friday at NewWerktheater.
I’d love to invite you to join us in the celebration of our journey translating paper and graphite into black porcelain.
For the first time ever, Lennard Kok joined forces with us at Another Something [in a close collaboration with Michiel Verweij en Suzan Becking] transforming one of his iconic illustrations into a sculpture made out of porcelain, which was giving the name: the Fallen Bird.
We would like to celebrate this together with you in the white space of NewWerktheater. Be among the first who are able to purchase the sculpture (made in an edition of 25 + 5 AP’s), have a drink with us and reserve your table for some delicious food at NewWerktheater, if you would decide to stay a little longer with us on this special evening.
Also releasing this Friday a special Los Angeles Apparel long sleeve  to celebrate this collaboration, and a handmade pin in collaboration with the Belgium jewellery designer Peter Vermandere! Hope to see you this Friday the 13th!
Below some inspiration and related content around this project.
Enjoy!

✈️ Aviophobia
We’re very honoured to also release another collaboration, with the Belgium jewellery designer Peter Vermandere. A day after a passenger plane was deliberately crashed by its pilot Vermandere made this small ‘skull plane’ pin. More on that this Friday!

Last Notes
And last one isn’t really related to crashing planes, but rather crashing democracies if you will… Modern media is a DoS attack on your free will. Or how the attention economy is subverting our decision-making and our democracy.
Also this long read touching the same theme is worth the read. ‘Our minds can be hijacked’: the tech insiders who fear a smartphone dystopia.

That was it for today. I promise to do the random thing next time again! And hope to see you all this Friday!
