One of my favorite projects in Scandinavia Dreaming: Icelandic designer Halfdan Pedersen’s home in the remote fishing village of Flateyri. Built from scratch using only reclaimed and salvaged materials, all visible wood, floors, ceilings, furniture, fixtures – and everything in between – were personally reclaimed and sourced by the designer, taking 10 years to complete.
Halfdan will be present at the launch party of the book and Keen on Walls on Friday, another brilliant reason to join us in the celebrations! ✨ (Other reasons: fika and coffee, bubbly and drinks by Warsteiner
, books from The American Book Center
and special interior design goodies!)
See you then!
