’Twas the week before The Masters

I’m back after a couple weeks of travel — one personal, one professional. We’re in a super busy season at Hope as we work to enroll our freshman class by May 1, but I’m finally caught up as we prepare for a few more busy visit days on campus before the end of the year.
Know a high school junior (or even a senior) who should be looking at Hope for next year? Send ’em our way.

  1. Last week Shawn Blanc and the crew over at The Sweet Setup launched a huge update to their Learn Ulysses course. If you do any writing on macOS/iOS, you should definitely check it out.
  2. Steven Curtis Chapman is out with his latest album: Deeper Roots: Where the Bluegrass Grows. I love the country vibe, and it’s cool to hear Steven’s brother & dad play on several of the songs.
  3. I just finished watching Apple’s latest media event, and while I don’t really give two hoots about Card or News+, I think Arcade looks terrific, and I’m excited to check out some of the shows on TV+.
  4. Flexibits released an iOS version of Cardhop, their wonderful little app for managing your contacts.
  5. The Pixelmator team announced pre-orders for Pixelmator Photo, a new app for editing photos on iPad. (Sadly it’s not supported on my iPad Air 2.)
  6. And now for some paper products: Field Notes released an amazing print of the U.S. highway system, and Baron Fig launched their new Grow Daily Journal.
  7. Austin Kleon’s latest effort — Keep Going — came out on Tuesday, and…
  8. Michael Hyatt’s new book Free to Focus releases next week. (I bought them both.)
  9. And finally… UNIQLO is offering an amazing selection of graphic tees called the Nintendo Super Mario Family Museum. (Don’t tell my kids.)
  10. Psst — next week is Masters Week. 🏌🏻‍♂️
Vid O’ the Week 🤣

Please forward it along to a friend (or two!) — it’s the best way to support The Agenda. You could also buy my Basecamp book (and save $10, no less) or buy me a coffee.
Thank you! 👏🏻
