It’s a fun week here in Holland, Michigan, as we welcome thousands of folks to town for our annual Tulip Time festival. It’s a week-long celebration of flowers, our city’s Dutch heritage (👋🏻Revue team!), and good ol’ fashioned carnival fun.
Elephant ear or funnel cake? I say both. See you next week!

  1. I actually published something on my blog! (Big pat on the back.) Here are my daily habits for 2019.
  2. And I also put together an Airtable for my Little Office Library (here’s the Twitter thread where I explain what that means).
  3. Our fine city got some major love from Forbes magazine.
  4. The tulips are growing, and so is our lawn. I just put down our first treatment from Sunday — basically Blue Apron for your grass. Excited to see how it turns out.
  5. Golf is played on grass, and as we look ahead to next week’s PGA Championship, I listened to a couple podcast episodes that did a deep dive on Tiger Woods following his historic Masters win: The Rory & Carson Podcast and The Brandel Chamblee Podcast with Jaime Diaz.
  6. And if you’re looking for new apparel sporting an obscure golf reference, this is the t-shirt (sold out at press time).
  7. Moving on: Tim Smith launched a Kickstarter for Bokeh, a privacy-focused photo sharing service.
  8. I loved this video from Seattle Pacific University featuring two senior Apple execs talking about their faith and how it played out working for Steve Jobs.
  9. Waiting in my Instapaper queue: the making of Amazon Prime.
  10. And finally, let’s go ahead and study the history of some famous fonts.
