We’re nearing the finish line in the race to recruit the Hope College Class of 2020. It’s been a fun week in the office as we celebrate each student who’s made the commitment to attend Hope this fall. “Colleges That Change Lives” can sometimes feel like a broad statement and one that’s hard to boil down for families, but in the course of the 18 to 24-month process of researching, applying to, and enrolling at Hope, I know that parents develop confidence in the myriad ways their student’s Hope experience will, in fact, affect the direction of their entire life. I’m fortunate to do work that matters, and I’m grateful for it.
The other awesome feature of my job? We get a do-over each and every year. Yes, there’s always a new class to recruit, and we’re already hard at work getting to know the prospective Class of 2021. We have the opportunity to build on our past successes and overcome our perceived failures, and that’s really a great thing.
What’s on your mind this week? Hit reply to drop me a line – I’d love to hear from you.
