Faculty Writing Camp
is over, and so I’m tasked with the challenge of maintaining momentum with my Better With Basecamp
project on my own. If I’m honest, doing so means resisting the inertia of post-kids-bedtime-lets-watch-a-show-every-night
and spending that time working on the book.
And I’ve had a pretty good week in that regard. Several nights I’ve used the 90 minutes after the kids have retired and before my bedtime to edit the book on paper and begin translating those edits to my project in Ulysses
When I’m not writing I want to be reading and/or exercising. This week I’ve been alternating between Side Hustle
by Chris Guillebeau and Station Eleven
by Emily St. John Mandel. I like to have both fiction and non-fiction picks going at the same time.
What are you reading right now? Hit reply and let me know.
Have a good week!
