I’m really good at *setting* my alarm…

This past weekend we had a wonderful time hosting our family and celebrating the Easter holiday, and as you’ll see below, Peeps hasn’t stopped innovating. Thank goodness for that.
I’m still struggling to conquer a major personal goal/life change of mine: getting up at 5 a.m. during the week (and on Saturdays). I know that the 5–7 a.m.-pre-kids-up-for-the-day time frame is my window for pursuing hobbies and passions, as evenings are mostly taken up with exercise, reading, and planning for the next day.
Do you get up that early, and if so, how do you do it? See you next week.

  1. Our church just released a worship EP! Check out Fade Away on SpotifyApple Music, etc.
  2. As Julie knows all too well, getting up at 5 a.m. every day has been a goal of mine for some time now. Will this blog post be enough to get me there?
  3. And speaking of time, I’m just a few chapters in, but loving Make Time by Jake Knapp and John Zeratzky.
  4. Michael Hyatt and his team opened up pre-orders for new versions of his Full Focus Planner.
  5. _David Smith launched CalZones, his calendar app with the best name in the history of calendar apps. (Extra credit for listening to the accompanying episode of David’s podcast, Under the Radar.)
  6. This week, while running on the treadmill in the evening, I Netflixed Nate Bargatze: The Tennessee Kid and Brené Brown: the Call to Courage.
  7. Super Mario Maker 2 for Nintendo Switch arrives June 28.
  8. Look, then watch: the Verge’s photo gallery celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Game Boy, then MKBHD unboxes the original Game Boy (for the first time).
  9. And for more techy YouTube: here’s the scoop on e-ink.
  10. Clicker is the best way to watch Netflix on macOS.
