I’ve been keeping busy! There’s a bunch of new things with the website, so I wanted to send you an email to fill you in about all the goodies.
🔥 The biggest update is the launch of a job board (over at jobs.alligator.io). It’ll have a strong focus towards remote jobs and towards popular frameworks like React, Vue and Angular. Right now you can find a few first jobs posted, and you can expect more and more to continue pouring in.
🔎 If you happen to work for a company that’s looking for new devs, they can use the coupon HELLODEVS2019 for a job listing at 50% off. The coupon will be valid until the end of February.
👤 You can create a private or public profile on the job board and this way it’s easy to apply for jobs or be seen by potential employers. Plus, you can subscribe for email alerts when jobs with your chosen keywords get listed.
👀 In other news, I’ve been playing around with the design of the website, tweaked a bunch of things and introduced a sidebar that should make it easier to see related posts as well as the latest job listings.
🎨 From the feedback that I’ve received, the dark theme seems to be really popular, so I’ve decided to make it the default color theme. Plus, I added a brand new theme, Solarized Dark, for another dark option that should be easy on the eyes. So now with the current color themes you should find something that closely matches your code editor, so that switching back and forth between your editor and Alligator.io is smooth as butter.
Alright, that’s it for now!
