Updated for 2022 - Introduction to Digital Campaigning for Unions
By Alex White • Issue #34 • View online
Hi there –
It’s been a while since I wrote to you, but I’m alerting you to my newly updated Introduction to Digital Campaigning for Unions, which has been published by the Australian Trade Union Institute.
This introduction is a resource for small to medium sized online union campaigns, run by one or two people who may not be experts in online campaigning.
This guide can also be read by a union leader who wants to get an overview of digital campaigning and contemporary best practice, but who will not necessarily be running the campaign.
It has been updated to include insights from running campaigns during the pandemic, as well as the latest trends and tactics that have arisen since 2020.
You can download a copy of the updated PDF for free here, and unions can also request a printed hard copy from the ATUI by emailing atui@actu.org.au.
I hope this is a useful resource for all unions.
In union
Alex White
