Hello!
I’ve got some news! Last Wednesday I’ve visited FramerX meetup in Berlin. I was really excited about new FramerX, its opportunities and flexibility. My plan was to see how tool works in action (we had live coding session).
… but my expectations were broken.
  1. Working in FramerX is harder than in old Framer
  2. You have to write all logic and any interaction in React instead of coffeescript. Syntax is not simple anymore.
  3. It’s buggy as hell (we stopped coding session a few times)
  4. There is no documentation yet.
Of course there are some perks like better UI tools and library of shared components but it cannot challenge with 4 bullet points above 🙄
I am giving Framer one more year 😄
