Web 3.0 for Web 2.0 devs 🤔

You’re probably a Web2.0 (I can’t tell you how much I dislike these marketing terms) developer - just like me.
I feel super comfortable with the tech stack I’m working with.
I’m also very slowly exploring the Web3.0 space.
It’s very unlikely that Web2.0 and the tech that makes you money right now - or just started learning - going to disappear.

Browsing the Remote OK DB for web3 jobs and diving into the job requirements. 🕵️

The most requested skills are still:

🔷 Front end
🔷 JavaScript
🔷 React

Solidity pops up for only some of these jobs.

If you know any of this and looking for a job, I'd look in the web3 space.
Recently I was browsing remoteok.com job statistics and found this special board for web3 jobs: web3.career. I looked at some of the top job openings that inspired the above tweet.

I think you’ve got the point: with Web 3.0 we expand on what’s tried-and-true from Web 2.0.
All your knowledge is still relevant and required by all these companies exploring the Web 3.0 space.

If you’re still looking into how to get started web3.career got you covered:
I personally recommend the buildspace tutorials because they’re really detailed: https://github.com/buildspace/buildspace-projects.
If YouTube is your thing I’ve been enjoying @WhiteboardCrypto videos lately. They’re relaxing to watch and explain every Crypto topic in a simple language with examples.
That’s it for today’s issue!
Enjoy the weekend and see you in the next one 🤜🤛
