Every week, I share a side-project I made in 1 day.

👋 Coucou!
Between two 🍻 beers, and emailing prospects, I’ve spent quite a lot of time crafting exciting stuff this week!
…well, at least it’s exciting for me! 🤓

1. My 85 students are evaluated by a robot 🤖
I developed a tool suite to save hours of student evaluation. Works like this.

For almost 2 years, I’ve been too lazy to evaluate the code of my 85 students by hand, so I invested hundreds of hours making software to do it for me.
I think that it could be useful to other teachers, so I made two 20-minute screencasts to show how it works, and then, shrank them in a 1.5-minute overview montage. You can see my last one above, and its full version if you click on it!
If you know any teacher or educational institution who may be interested in this kind of automation, please let me know!
2. The future of Openwhyd welcomes your $$$
Openwhyd now can sustain and stay 100% independent, thanks to donations.

As you may know, the Whyd company is not paying for Openwhyd’s servers any more. So I’ve spent quite some time moving it to a cheaper server, and got us accepted on opencollective, a crowdfunding site for open-source projects! 🎉
If you love discovering & sharing music, and you want to help us sustain openwhyd.org, give us a few bucks, it’ll show your face on that page! 😊
3. Still messing with Google Inbox 🛠
Work in progress: added a button in Inbox's "new email" form.

Ok, I’ve been saying “I’ll tell you more about this project soon!” for months, now… So here it is: Zee and I have been working on a product that make the process of sending questions and answers by email suck less!
We’re currently getting our first prototype (MVP) tested by relevant users. On the side, I’m experimenting ways to integrate it into Google Inbox, as you can see in the animation above! InboxSDK is so cool! 🤘
That’s it for today!
Have a great weekend, and talk to you soon! 📡
