The Dandizette is a newsletter by Yolanda Shoshana with a little bit of everything. Live life though your senses as you level up!

Happy National Wine Day! As if we needed a reason to sip wine? The biggest question is red, white, pink, or sparkling, which one to choose?
It’s a great day to take your palate on an adventure to another country. Pick wine from a region that you would love to visit. How about a Verdejo from Spain, a Crémant from Alsace, or a red from Chile? Let your taste buds take you around the world.
Get yourself a nice bottle for the occasion you deserve it. Plus, it’s always fun to treat yo self!

A Fine & Dandy Wine List
I learned the value of a good list from Paula Rizzo who has a website called ListProducer. We had been following each other online and ended up meeting at The Book Expo in NYC. She’s so great. Her information on productivity is stellar.
Below is a list of wines that are delicious and perfect to pair with your food fetish. However, every single one of the wines is perfect on their own.
1) Zardetto Prosecco Brut- $14.99
A good bottle of bubbles that won’t break the bank. Has nice fizz and aromas of orange blossoms and citrus. You could pair this one with just about everything and anything. Great paired with fried chicken and popcorn. Also a good topper for a French 75.
2) Marqués de Riscal Verdejo- $8.99
This Spanish white is made with 100% organic grapes. It’s such an easy one to sip. It gives you plenty of tropical fruit flavors. Good for fish and salads. You should probably get more than more bottle, cause it goes down easily.
3) Caparzo Rosso di Montalcino- $23.99
A fabulous Italian red that is good for every day that would pair fabulously with pasta with a red sauce or a burger. It tastes like it costs more money, so it’s also a good choice when you entertain.
4) Olivia Brion Tempranillo- $36
The winemaker for this winery, Kira Ballotta, and I spent a glorious night in NYC sipping her wine with a group of winos after meeting on Instagram. Her Tempranillo is one that you will remember with it’s rose petal and cherry aromas. It’s well structured and has just the right amount of juiciness.
5) Los Dos Cava Brut Rosé- $15.99
Want Champagne, but your budget is giving you a side eye? Spain’s answer to bubbles is a good way to go. From the lovely label to the bubbly in the bottle, this is a good one. Coming in with florals and ripe cherry, strawberry, and raspberry flavors on the palate.
6) Domaine Barmès- Buecher Crémant d’ Alsace Brut Nature- $25
Alsace is such a magickal wine region. It’s known for its very aromatic, floral and spicy white wines. This bubbly is flirty on the tongue. It’s a blend of six grapes and no added sugar. I give it a big thumbs up!
7) Château du Carrubier 2018 Cuvée Ingénue Rosé- $21.99
A rosé from Provence that has a bit of a different flair than other rosé from the region. It’s a delightful blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Rolle. The pale pink with orange undertones has notes of berries. It’s perfect for every day sipping. Get your favorite French cheese and you will have the perfect pairing.
