I mentioned spending some time on Pinterest
in the last issue
. Pinterest comes up a lot when I’m searching for knitting patterns online. Unfortunately, almost all the links end up back at Ravelry.
I’ve decided that none of the pins on my Pinterest boards will lead back to Ravelry. I don’t want anyone to discover something they want to make and then be unable to access the pattern.
This means a bit more detective work for me, but that’s Okay, I might as well use my day-job sleuthing skills for good. It’s also quite a fun project.
There are a lot of cool patterns that I simply can’t include on my boards because the designer hasn’t got an off-ravalry option. But I’ll keep looking and reach out to the designers where I can.
