I'm still logged out of Ravelry - Woolly Rebellion - Issue #34
By Katharine • Issue #34 • View online
Hi Crafters,
I’m still logged out of Ravelry and I plan to stay logged out for as long as possible or until they change their stance on accessibility.
I mentioned spending some time on Pinterest in the last issue. Pinterest comes up a lot when I’m searching for knitting patterns online. Unfortunately, almost all the links end up back at Ravelry.
I’ve decided that none of the pins on my Pinterest boards will lead back to Ravelry. I don’t want anyone to discover something they want to make and then be unable to access the pattern.
This means a bit more detective work for me, but that’s Okay, I might as well use my day-job sleuthing skills for good. It’s also quite a fun project.
There are a lot of cool patterns that I simply can’t include on my boards because the designer hasn’t got an off-ravalry option. But I’ll keep looking and reach out to the designers where I can.
I’m a knitter and a nerd. Find me on Instagram as KnittedByNails, and my favourite crafty supplies are for sale in the Woolly Rebellion shop.

What's on?
Yarn Craft showcase event | Saturday 10th April
I should be back at Hungerford Market with the Woolly Rebellion stall on Wednesday 14th April, as non-essential retail is now able to reopen in England.
Next weekend, on Saturday 17th April, I’ll be taking part in the Indie Roller community’s BUNDLE event. I’ll have a special bargain bundle for all the sock knitters out there. Keep an eye on the #IndieRollerBundle hashtag to see great value offers from my fellow rollers. There will be more info on this in the next issue.
What have you been watching or listening to while crafting this week? Here’s a couple of suggestions from me. 🛍️
First Contact Day | Paramount+ on YouTube
