Our "Hey Stranger!" Series is Back!
Last week, we asked random women we met on the street “what purchases made you happy?” We got an eclectic response from French antique dolls worth enough to buy a house in NYC to custom made sandals from Italy.
This week, we asked “what is your most memorable summer experience?” Any of our WINers prepay for vacations on Groupon? Studied abroad throughout Europe every summer? Or were forced to join swim teams (or any other activity you hated) summer after summer? If yes, you’ve got good company. If not, we still hope it’s a 5 min fun listen!
One of the questions we asked strangers this week was “what would your perfect summer day be? And how much would it cost?” Well, summer vacation season is coming up and the question may be on many WINers’ minds. Here are some sites for a fun read:
3. Booking a flight? Did you know Google created a comparison platform for flights? In my experience, the cheapest flights aren’t always still available but it’s a good site to do your preliminary research.
4. As you know at WINii, money and mindfulness are one of our core pillars. Perhaps vacations are another great time to exercise mindfulness? How to Be Mindful on Vacation (The New York Times)
5. Revisiting your summer memories have you feeling nostalgic? To add more feels, Britney Spears bloopers from “Oops I did it again.”
