We’ve partnered with BBC Bitesize to share the benefits of students creating a digital portfolio to showcase their full range of talents beyond just grades. Check out our article here. It’s a bit like a CV but everything is online and you can include extras likes copies of your certificates and achievements. If you haven’t logged in to Upskill Me, you can create your digital profile for free and share the link with employers to stand out from the crowd www.upskillme.io.
This month is Black History Month, we have loved reading this article from our partners at NCS which is about Black history here in the UK, which seeks to champion and celebrate the most recent achievements and catalysts, starting with a look at the 1980’s. This article by the BBC is also a brilliant look into British Entrepreneurs from the past and present.
Thanks to everyone who applied for our Female STEM Talent Programme, with over 600 applications, we were blown away by the popularity of this programme. Rest assured we have lots of other events coming up for everyone to join. As always, we have added some exciting opportunities for you this week. We hope you find them helpful! 🎉
