🦇Gone Batty: DesAstor's Author Updates & Writing Tips🦇 - Creatives' Thoughts, My Deep Dives

Hey bats!
I often do deep dives on my blog, where I’ll ask folks on twitter (given my audience is mostly writers) what they think about various topics. These can give some great insight on what the current ideas and thoughts are flowing around a genre, monster, or topic.
Here are some good ones you might want to look into:
  1. DEEP DIVE: What do Creatives think of “Urban/Modern Fantasy”?
  2. DEEP DIVE: Vampires! What does Twitter think about them? What are some ongoing debates?
  3. Creators’ thoughts on Dragons: A Deep Dive
  4. A Deep Dive into Creatives’ thoughts on Zombies
Not only do these articles explore what people think in general about these topics, but they also offer ideas on them as well. I worked particularly hard on my vampire Deep Dive, but that’s understandable given I love vampires!
I’ll be continuing to do Deep Dives on my blog throughout the year. People seem to like them, though they don’t get as much traction for the amount of work I put in. That said, please share if you enjoyed the articles!
Fun Facts on The Kingdoms of Blood:
Robert Smoke
Smoke will often have talks with his sister, Cecelia, about what has happened to them. They have grown much closer since their initial very aggressive reunion.”
Cecelia Smoke
“Cecelia has adopted a gothic style now, fitting into the gang far better than her previous clothing. Ares was delighted when she suggested an update like this to her wardrobe.”
Darcia Deville
“Despite their beginnings, Darcia considers Ares one of her closest friends now. After all they’ve been through, she would give her life for him. This does not prevent constant friendly competition between the two.”
