This is a great lesson to remember when we’re at war with ourselves; when we know what we should be doing but can’t seem to help putting it off. Maybe we put if off for an hour. Maybe for a day. It could even be weeks. But we’re not getting it done.
More — it’s what we’re sold. Our programming to have more, do more and be more is the job of the advertising industry. It’s their responsibility to make us belief that we cannot be happy without the things they offer.
When you admire someone’s success, and tell them that their work has great meaning to you, the reaction of most people is to downplay your compliment. The same thing happens when people show their work.
