Happy 15th Issue!
This week’s issue comes after a short break. I had a crazy couple of weeks trying to meet multiple deadlines on my Design Projects. But I’m back and everything’s good. Thanks to all those who emailed me wondering why they didn’t receive their issue for 2 weeks. I am very happy you look forward to TGIC every week.
I have always felt that it is better for designers to create a federated BIM model using Computational BIM workflows rather than struggle with the limitations of any one BIM software. Although integration of geometry with BIM has always been a bit of a black box, many interoperability plugins have been developed to significantly improve the robustness of such workflows. This week, let’s take a look at the various Computational BIM workflows that are currently in use in the AEC Industry.
Until next week,
