As long as I can remember I’ve been a fan of Disney. I saw many movies on the big screen, watched the cartoons at home and dreamed about visiting Disneyland Paris, Disneyland California and Walt Disney World some day…

Disneyland Paris
When I was 13 years old, my parents took me and my sister to Disneyland Paris as a surprise.
It was a magical weekend and we bought tons of souvenirs there, ranging from pvc figures to postcards and almost everything in between.
I remember we even saved the little packs of sugar, because they had the park’s logo printed on them.
I was hooked for life…
Walt Disney World
Back in 2008, my girlfriend and I visited Walt Disney World in Florida for the first time. A dream came true for the both of us.
Of course, I went all out and spent an insane amount of money on souvenirs again, but it was worth every penny.
I mean, come on, how can you not love Disney?
Disneyland California
Two years after that trip to Walt Disney World, we decided we should visit Disneyland California as well.
The place where it all began, the place Walt saw during his life, the happiest place on earth!
While we were there, I got bitten by the Vinylmation bug…
Vinylmation
For those of you that don’t know what I’m talking about:
A Vinylmation figure always has the shape of Mickey Mouse and sometimes Minnie Mouse. On the figure, another Disney character, ride, building, logo etc. is painted.
Every year Disney releases various series to collect.
The fun thing about these vinylmation figures is the fact that most of them come in ‘blind boxes’. This means you don’t know which one you’ll get.
As you buy more and more, the chance of buying a double one gets bigger.
Not to worry though, because there are many people that collect these addictive figures, so you can usually trade or sell your extras.
The cool thing about these Vinylmation figures is that there’s always a 'chaser’ figure in a series.
This figure is not depicted on the box the figures come in and is harder to get than the other ones.
Whenever you pull a chaser figure, it feels like you’ve won something.
You need to experience it firsthand to see what I mean, but I can assure you it’s awesome!
Throughout the years my Vinylmation collection has grown and grown.
We still go to the Disney Parks almost every year, so it’ll probably continue to grow until we need to buy a bigger house for all these little pieces of art…
