The Pegasus Report
Tomorrow is September! Summer has been awesome, but I have to say it will be great when kids go back to school over this week and next. It should herald a return to normality (whatever that will look like) and, like every other September, a renewed sense of getting back to business. There has been lots of positive news over recent weeks and long may it continue and see the industry return to full health!

In Birmingham, plans are in for a 48-storey build to rent scheme at the site of the former Irish Centre in the city. HS2 has gained planning for the Birmingham Interchange station, it is set to be the world’s most sustainable railway station.
In Cheshire, work is to start on UK’s first plastic to hydrogen plant.
In Liverpool, Everton Football club are looking at an early 2021 start date for their new £500m stadium.
In Southsea, work on a £100m coastal defence plan is set to start within weeks.  In Kent, work is set to start this year on a major  242 home scheme in Gravesend town centre.
In London, plans have gone out to consultation to build a 10-storey office and research building for US pharmaceuticals giant Merck opposite King’s Cross station. In Redhill, work has started on a £50m cinema, shops and flats scheme.
In South Wales, the Government has released nearly £6m to kick-start design work on the long-awaited Cardiff Central station upgrade.
In York, Homes England and Network Rail have agreed to provide £77m of funding for infrastructure work to kick start York’s new city centre quarter development.
