Norwegian Reproducibility Network (NORRN) town hall meeting

The Norwegian Reproducibility Network newsletter
We were delighted to see the positive response to the recent launch of The Norwegian Reproducibility Network (NORRN), which is a peer-led network that aims to promote and enable rigorous, robust, and transparent research practices in Norway.
To help guide the next steps for NORRN, we are holding an online Town Hall on Friday 4 March, from 1200 to 1300 (CET). You can join the Town Hall meeting via Zoom using this link. In this meeting, we will provide information on the network, details on how people can get involved, and a roadmap for the future.

Everybody is welcome to join this meeting, whether you’re already interested in getting actively involved with NORRN or just want to hear more about the network.
In particular, we will discuss Local Nodes, which will provide a mechanism through which the aims of NORRN can be promoted within institutions. Practically speaking, this could include the establishment of open research working groups, running training workshops, and advocating for the wider adoption of best practices within institutions.
Those Local Nodes will be coordinated by Local Node Leaders, who will provide the point of contact for NORRN. We are looking for Local Node Leaders across Norwegian research institutions representing a wide spread of research disciplines. We are also looking for people to support the work of these Local Node Leaders.
Another way that you can support NORRN in the meantime is to spread the word about the network to your colleagues by sharing our website and mailing list. We also have a Twitter account, which we regularly use to share updates and news.
As always, please get in touch if you have any questions or comments.
The NORRN initiating members: Agata Bochynska, Daniel Quintana, Julien Mayor, Siri Leknes, and Timo Roettger
